Angelica Root (Angelica Dahurica)

The Angelica Root, also known as Dang Gui, is used mainly to help invigorate, harmonize and tonify one’s blood. It is commonly used among woman to regulate their menstrual cycle and avoid becoming anemic. However, it has many benefits not just for the ladies!

Although the herb is helpful for people who are diabetic, those who have any viral infections and have treatments with anticoagulants should be more cautious while using the herb. It may cause an increase in skin sensitivity to sunlight or dermatitis. Over-dosage could cause abdominal bloating and for women that may also experience some changes in their menstrual cycle. Make sure you use this within the safe amount!
